The Campaign Against Canned Hunting Inc, (CACH) was founded by Chris Mercer and Beverley Pervan. After years of campaigning using their own savings, they established a not-for-profit Section 21 company, which is dedicated to getting all trophy hunting banned in South Africa.

Like all bona fide non profits, the Campaign's accounts are audited annually by independent chartered accountants.

• Seven years rehabilitation work with birds of prey and small mammals in the Kalahari

paul hart

• Paul Hart has been working hands on with indigenous and exotic wildlife for more than 23 years and is an acknowledged chemical capture expert as well as an expert regarding captive lions and chimpanzees
• Paul founded Drakenstein Lion Park in 1998, a facility which today is an internationally acclaimed and award winning lifetime care sanctuary for rescued and abused lions

les ward

• Les Ward MBE is a leading figure in animal welfare and protection circles and he received an MBE for work in that field
• For many years he was the Director of leading campaigning organisation Advocates for Animals in Scotland and latterly, was the Managing Trustee of the respected international grant making charity, the Marchig Animal Welfare Trust
• He is presently working with the well known and extremely effective organisation Animals’ Angels
